Be more careful and investigate to avoid this problem in the future.

Green Mountain tried to scam me out of 896.06 by saying that I had a unpaid bill at the previous property I just moved out on October 2023. It took 3 phone calls to Green Mt. And a call to Oncore to verify the meter ESI number is for the whole property not just one apt. I tried to explain that to the people I spoke to at Green Mt. They gave me excuses and blaming the property which was all bills paid property. I have gone with another electricity company. I had used Green Mt. Before and was very happy. But will not recommend Green Mt. again. That Green Mt. will be more careful and investigate to avoid this problem in the future. Their rating should be lower due this situation.
