On December 3, 2023, I contacted Spot Free Chimney Cleaning (officially Green Safe LLC) (https://chimneypros.pro/) to inspect and repair my gas fireplace. Two technicians were dispatched to my residence, diagnosing the need for cleaning and repair, for which I was charged a total of $856. After their departure, a concerning gas odor permeated the area, prompting an immediate call to Washington Gas for inspection. The gas company technician identified dangerously high gas levels and urgently advised that the service provided by Spot Free Chimney Cleaning needed to rectify the issue promptly to ensure safety. Despite my attempts to reach out to Green Safe LLC's office multiple times through calls and messages, I have not received any response or assistance. To exacerbate the situation, my attempts to contact the technician directly have been unsuccessful as he claims to be on medical leave. This lack of response and unavailability has left my family in a perilous situation. The gas supply had to be disconnected to safeguard against potential hazards, depriving us of a basic necessity. I am deeply concerned about the lack of responsibility and urgency displayed by Green Safe LLC in addressing this critical safety issue. The indifference and unresponsiveness displayed by the company have not only endangered my family but also impeded our access to a vital utility. Resolution Sought I want them to come out and fix my fireplace, as they charged me.
