Greenix Pest Control complaints

I had called GREENIX pest control for services, I believe on the 13th of april. They sent a 6 page email for me to sign, which I barely skimmed and then signed electronically. They came over and set 4 traps around the outside of my home. After still experiencing rodent activity inside the home with specific intrusion to my plants, indoor plants, I asked ( after a week ) them why they set traps outside my home instead of inside. I had paid the initial payment of 50 dollars and they told me there would be additional fees to come back and set traps inside the home. At this point because the critter was finding a home in my plants leaving piles of dirt on the floor, I felt it might be a gopher or something else and after 2 weeks I asked them to please come get their traps and to discontinue the service. I had also taken my plants outside and turned them upside down because we felt whatever it was has made its home in our plant. GREENIX told me I signed a contract for 2 years for 50 dollars a month and to discontinue the contract would cost $ 250.00 I told them we did not live on a farm and we don't have mice running around our home and I asked them if they lost their cotton picking mind charging that amount to catch supposedly a mouse and of course they told me I signed the contract. So they picked up the traps after first opening each one and finding NO activity on them at all, on the 4th of May, and now they want me to pay the cancellation fee of $249.00 dollars. No money Resolution Sought We would like you to help stop this process. We are 70 years old now, we work hard for our money and don't have money to give away . We feel they know people aren't going to read a 6 page email when hiring them to set bait for a mouse, and feel they are trying to take advantage of us. I have never done such a thing before, and I can guarantee you I won't allow it to happen again. Everyone I talked to was courteous, but their customer relations are seriously lacking.......it's all about the money
