Cabinet doors supposed to be white some yellowed in less a year so did some of the drawers the trim did not yellow or the partition between stove and refridge. We have been talking with the company they said they will fix the problem it has been over a year and they keep putting it off. I have had the problem looked at by three other businesses they said the cabinets were not finished correctly. I have called and talked to them at least a dozen times and went to their business 3 times they keep telling they will fix the problem they keep telling they will get back with me but never have. Resolution Sought Replace or refinish

2 1/2 years after cabinets were delivered we received a call that the finish was yellowing. I went to the customers home and the doors had yellowed. We removed one for inspection. The yellowing was smoke damage. Much of the yellow washed off but some had penetrated the finish. The door had a very intense smell of cigarette smoke. The doors were supplied by Conestoga Wood Specialties Corporation. They have a 1-year warranty on the finish and that warranty does not cover smoke damage. As a good will gesture we offered to remove and repaint the door and drawer fronts. However, due to this not being a warranty issue we would not warrant the doors against future yellowing. What we offered was not good enough. Mr. Hamman has repeatedly threatened to sue us. He has repeatedly come to our shop and bothered the shop employees before our office was even open.

I only went to their shop one time. I was advised to speak with Justin. Around February 2021, Justin told me that he was going take care of the problem, and then I went to see him and he keeps telling me the same thing about the smoke. Why is one door still a bright white color and others have yellowed? We have two drawers that stayed white and one that has yellowed. Wouldn't you think something is wrong with the paint? I took one of the doors to a painter who told me that they didn't put the right type of primer or totally forgot to put it on. I also took one of the doors to a smoke restoration company and the representative sprayed a solution on it to check for smoke, and the paint didn't run as it should have if it was smoke damage on the paint. I was also told smoke damage would not show up on both sides of the door. And, all the yellowed doors are also yellow on the inside. After being told they would refinished the yellowed doors, that's all I'm requesting them to do.
