Went in because of warning dashboard light. Told me it needed a motor after I told them what the msg I received on my Ford app. My car was in the shop from August 20,2021 to December 10,2021. Was having problems with the heat not working, took it back December 29,2021 to January 6,2022, put in a cooling pump and antifreeze still didn't work. Took it back in February 8,2022 to February 24,2022 because it was making a ticking sound, put fuel pump, tappets. Motor is knocking now, they wanted to know if I'd leave it. I told them not right now because they didn't have a loaner for me and I don't have any other transportation. Had the same problem while motor was being installed (loaner) The whole time I'm making a car payment ($291.74 + insurance $214.67 mo.) ×10mos. that I had no access to. Would like to be compensated and car repaired properly. I believe after taking the car in constantly, the service manager (Matt) and technician supervisor (David) were dodging my calls. Resolution Sought Would like to be reimbursed for car payments and insurance payments made while car was unavailable and them promising end dates not fulfilled. Would like car to be completely repaired properly. I was making car and insurance payments on a car that I had no access to.

The vehicle was brought in at the times stated by Ms. Adams, and it did require engine replacement. The majority of the down time was due to repeated parts delays and faulty parts. The engines that we install under warranty are provided by Ford, and remanufactured by them. Loaner vehicles are not guaranteed, nor are they as readily available due to inventory shortages. Ms. Adams was provided with three different loaner vehicles, at no cost. The second loaner vehicle was returned to us with significant damage due to being rear ended. While insurance paid for the repairs to the vehicle, there is now record of that brand new vehicle being in an accident, and we were unable to provide it to other warranty customers. The third loaner vehicle was a used vehicle due to having zero loaner cars at the time. In regards to the current repair, we contacted the manufacturer and were able to get a long block authorized under warranty.

They did get my car repaired after saying they weren't going to work on it again until they received my complaint. It did take a couple of weeks to get it done. Seems to be working fine so far. However, I would still like to be reimbursed, I do want to amend the amount for reimbursement to $3904.33 for car payments and insurance. I did have the car in my possession even though it was inoperable, but I'm willing to forego 2 of those months. I've dealt with this problem since August 2021 til June 2022 (10mos). Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
