I responded to an ad on Next Door by someone named Carter Kaufman who indicated his company did concrete work including resurfacing pool concrete. We received a bid from his company which was called Grind and Shine Polished Concrete. Apparently the company is out of Butler, PA and Carter lives in Camp Hill., PA which is where we are located. They resurfaced our pool concrete last fall right before we closed our pool. When we opened the pool this summer we noticed lots of individuals were slipping on the newly resurfaced concrete to the point that it has become a hazard.In addition, I sent photos of the cracked export areas on the newly resurfaced area. We paid a significant amount of money for the job and both Carter and the owner have indicated that they would fix the issue but they never showed up when they said they would and haven't responded to messages or calls. I finally left an honest review after repeated attempts to get a response and they responded with. Nasty reply that they are busy and pool surfaces are slippery when wet. Resolution Sought I want a partial refund or the areas that are cracked and too slippery to be sanded and fixed as Carter had indicated they would do.
