CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

I lived at a resident back in 2017. I received a higher then normal bill and I had my landlord look into it found out I had a leak. I reported this to the City of Suffolk water department. In the mean time I ended up moving and gave a forwarding address. I never received any type of correspondence nor a forwarding bill. Well in April of 2022 my husband and I filed our state taxes and Hampton Roads Sanitation department took them. When I contacted them they stated that they were for a bill back in 2017 and admitted no correspondence was sent to me. i gave my current address and requested all information be sent to me. I never got anything. Then when our tax rebate came they took another 131 dollars from it. And as of today I have not received anything from them stating it was still a balance or anything. I am not understanding how a company is allowed to take someone money without sending out correspondence to you and giving you the opportunity to pay. Resolution Sought I would honestly like a refund because one I reported that I had a leak and no one did their job to look into what I was sent and do a proper adjustment. I find it hard that no one does their job properly but can take money from hard working citizens without sending them proper documentation.
