After getting two quotes to replace all windows on my double wide manufactured home, I went with the more expensive of the two, which I now believe was a serious mistake. First of all after giving them $35,000.00 cash they began replacing my windows from the single pane to double pane with argon gas in the middle of the two windows. I have a total of 16 windows on my home. The first issue is that many of the windows were cut to an incorrect size because they had to use large amounts of caulking to fill in gaps which they created when making their cuts. This looks unsightly and was what I was hoping to avoid when hiring the more expensive of the two companies. Second they have not completed my windows yet. Third issue is I can't seem to be able to get anyone on the phone despite calling day after day during business hours. I have many concerns which have dawned on me. I don't know what I was thinking but these windows are absolutely nothing special. They are run of the mill double pane windows and they are installed shotty at best. They look terrible which I was again hoping to avoid when hiring the more expensive of the two companies. For the price I have already paid they ought to be bulletproof and I'm not joking! $35,000 is not a small amount of money! They are only to replace 16 windows! They are expecting another payment of $35,000! What is going on here?, they can't be serious. I want a detailed invoice immediately, and the windows completed. Resolution Sought I need them to finish the job, but would prefer a refund considering the unprofessional job they have already done. Detailed invoice of materials and labor. I feel like I was taken advantage of swindled for my hard earned money. I would prefer a refund and would like to take my business elsewhere.
