Jimmy the owner can often be seen in and out the restaurant/bar, many times arguing with the hands/employees and his frustrations about their personal business. I've been a regular at the bar. I spoke to Jimmy, the owner, I said hello Jimmy, while sitting at the bar and he began yelling at me about some tables etc.... However he put an exclamation on just what he finally thought about me by calling me BOY! Everyone there mouth was wide-open in disbelief. I'm an African American male and the bar is other. One of the employees came up shook my hand and a hug in apologized. I'm well over 50yrs and have served my country, the village I reside in honorably. I've represented my village in the sport of boxing nationally and internationally. To be reduc d down to BOY! for something I have nothing to do with is unacceptable. I'm asking for a written apoloy from owner Jimmy as he's called Resolution Sought Written Apology , refund my money for my food and meal I spent in that setting

Please be advised that this office represents Mr. Stramaglia the owner of Harlo Grill located at: 2300 West North Avenue, Melrose Park, IL 60160 with regards to the captioned Complaint. In response, my client denies any wrongdoing and adamantly denies making any derogatory remarks to Mr. Pickens. My client has successfully owned and operated this business location for over 15 years and has not built this successful business by insulting patrons. The alleged complaint description detailed by Mr. Pickens is complete hearsay and has not been corroborated by anyone. My client will NOT refund any monies nor apologize as he has not done anything wrong. My client takes these allegations seriously and will not allow his reputation be slandered on false and baseless allegations. Please be advised if Mr. Pickens continues to make false allegations or baseless claims my client will take legal action to defend his reputation.
