Due to apparent system errors on the part of this insurance company, I have not been able to schedule an appointment with multiple healthcare providers. I've called doctors offices and the insurance's customer support over 10x trying to figure this out, trying to be patient as I know there have been changes in CA and thus there may be some early difficulties but the fact is that I've paid for insurance I've not been able to use all month and customer support has not been able to rectify or even figure out the issue. Resolution Sought Most importantly I want my money back. I would like them to create more efficient call center support. A better app for users. Onboard new patients correctly.

I signed up for insurance through my employer with health net. The insurance was supposed to be active September 1, 2023. health net continuously gave reasons as to why the application hadn't been processed yet. Asking for information I already provided them on the application like my social security number, and delaying the application until I personally submit my social to a representative. The insurance was supposed to deactivate November 1st, 2023 because we were dropping them as a provider. I knew this would be short term but this is the only insurance my doctor accepted and I needed to have an expensive procedure done. Health net didn't active insurance until 2 weeks prior to November 1st and then said the coverage started September 1st even though I was denied by my doctor multiple times because health net was not active and health net told us it wasn't active. They still billed me for 2 months of service that I couldn't use and refused to provide a refund even though it was because of their own behalf that the insurance didn't activate. I called multiple times and they wouldn't speak to me and said my job had to call, my job called multiple times and they still refused a refund even though I didn't have service through them. It was a complete scam and they forced personal information out of me that was already provided through a secure application. Resolution Sought I want a full refund. I never received the services and I can't file fraud through my bank because it comes directly out of my paycheck.
