My wife and I were in Helzberg diamonds in Taylor, MI on 02/14/24. I made a purchase of a ring enhancer for $4055.49. The ring needed to be resized from a size 9 to 10. The ring would need to be sent off to be resized and would take 5-6 weeks before we would even get it back. On 02/23/24 about 1pm I returned to the store to cancel my order and to get a refund. Asst manager stated that she would offer in store credit but would absolutely NOT issue a refund since the ring was sent off to be resized. I was confused because Helzberg's website states there is a 30 day return policy from date of sale. The only exception to returns were if the ring was custom made or something was engraved into the product. The ring wasn't a custom piece and we didn't have anything engraved into it. Helzberg Diamonds still has possession of the ring and it has not even been resized yet. I am also well within the 30 day return policy. I contacted their corporate office to no avail and only to get the run around and excuses. Corporate was even confused as to why I was denied a refund considering their 30 day return policy. The person handling the issue on corporate side was supposed to have a meeting with the store manager on 02/23/24. I have yet to receive any communication from corporate. At this point I feel that Helzberg diamonds is illegally withholding my money and not standing behind their return policy and violating my rights as a consumer. Resolution Sought I would just like my purchase canceled and refunded in full.

It was an unwelcoming experience your employee Juliana was rude and discriminatory very disrespectful at the the same token . She failed to give equality treatment to me as a loyal customer for over a decade. She rudely was inappropriate for speaking about in my face telling a customer I was cheap because I didny want to buy any diamonds that day. She threatened me and call me a vulgar name. I informed the manager regarding my complaint and he apologized but it was too late the damaged was done. She notified police and I was escorted out for address my complaint to the manager at the helzberg diamond store after I was approved for a credit card. This experience is overwhelming as a medical professional I assessed her with bipolar disorder and she needs to not work with the community until her mental health is controlled since it interchanged too quickly her demeanor was uncalled for at the moment. Resolution Sought Please provide this feedback & speak to your employee that respect & equality is necessary to be given to all customers regardless of their race
