We paid in full in August of 2021 to have a main sewage line that had collapsed replaced, when putting back the dirt it was not done right and left a 3 foot mound above the ground. It is red clay so it will not settle like regular dirt over time. They then were suppose to repatch the concrete that was busted up for the work and did it sloppy, plus not level and a box that was put in for caps is slanted, they still have not put in a back flow perventer, and tried to give our dirt away to a neighbor when we never said we wanted it hauled off. They even broke our meter for the city to be able to scan which cost 135 dollars to replace. It's taken 9 months for them to do a 2 week job and not even complete it the right way. They refuse to give us a refund or do it right. Resolution Sought Either refund the money so we can pay someone else to do the job or do it correctly and fix the mistakes that were made.

Mr. Henry contacted Herman's Plumbing to schedule us to pour back concrete. We noticed that some time had passed since the job was completed and immediately apologized for the time gap. Customer stated is was his request because he was going to be out of the country and wanted to be home when we did the work and he would call back to schedule during warmer months when he got back. Upon completion work, customer stated that he was leaving the country for several months. Herman's contacted customer apporx. One month after job was completed to patch concrete and he told us to wait. Two to three more attempts were made over the following couple of months to patch the concrete and again customer told us to wait because he wanted it to be hot when we did it. Customer's wife was in town during this time lapse. Upon customer return to the country, he called Herman's highly upset that concrete wasn't completed. Herman's Plumbing then when to patch concrete, cleaned up yard. At that time we broke the auto reader on the water meter. Herman offered to pay for the cost for the repair done by the city. Customer came to Herman's Pluming office highly upset with clean up/concrete work that we did. We sent our service manager to visit the site and verify work was done correctly. Customer stated to him that the concrete didn't look good and there was a lot of excess dirt. Our service manager explained to the customer that we would do anything to make him happy. We then send our senior tech. over there to clean yard/concrete work. During the time being on site, a current Herman's customer that lives directly across the street that they would like any excess dirt that we were going to haul off. The tech proceeded to take 2-3 buckets of dirt across the street which was late AM. Aprox. 2-3 hours later the customer (who had been home all day) came outside furiously told our tech that we shouldn't be giving away his property. The tech then went back across the street and returned all the dirt that was removed upon completion. Mr. Henry came back outside and apologized to our tech and said he was wrong. Herman's offered to do whatever it took to make him happy and he refused. As Herman's tech. was loading up to leave job, customer called the owner and proceeded to be irate at which time he offered to do whatever it would take and customer refused.
