I reserved a truck rental for moving. I was told to bring $154.41 for payment. Before arriving I was sent a text message from U-haul to preregistration of the said truck. I completed the registration online and at the end of the registration was given the message that it wasn't processed. However my payment was in fact paid through my bank account. When I arrived the lady said I owed 255.41 and no payment was made. We squabbled but she refused to give me the truck with out the payment. She assured me that the other payment would be reversed. After I returned home she called saying she was wrong about the payment and I really only needed to pay 168.41, and needed my card again so she could fix it. No payments were reversed so I have now been charged 579.23 for a truck that was supposed to cost 154.41. She tells me she can't do anything to fix this and I must call U-haul. I've waited over an hour and no one is answering the call. What recourse do I have at this point? Resolution Sought Be refunded the 424.82 over payment immediately before it causes other payments to bounce from my bank account.
