I and my friend were told I could have an insurance policy to cover all the major car parts such as engine,transmission,rearend etc. for the duration of my loan which is five years for an additional $8.00(eight) dollars a Month which is offered only to Hi Lo customers. Aprox a week later I'm finding that going thru my paper work things were just not adding up. After speaking with the bank who gave me the loan, said that there was a service contract added to the loan to the amount of $2,895.00 which was taken from my down payment of $4,000.00. At which was to go towards the total costs of the vehicle. This man deliberately lied to me leading me to believe differently. At the beginning he kept trying to sell me extra insurance and over and over I kept saying no. And then during a different approach , he said he just couldn't under stand why I wouldn' t take such a great opportunity for only eight dollars a month for five years . My friend and I talked about this with David the salesman .And we both agreed it was a good deal. This man just outright lied to me and my friend with out even batting an eye. This man is a creep among creeps , to take ones money that took years to save to help bring down the payments. I am a 68 year old widower of two years with a son 6 years old. Its just he and I. You may be asking are these numbers right? They are. My wife was half my age. Still. The man is a thief, and should be held accountable. this all took place April 26,2022 Resolution Sought I know with no doubt , he lied to me. And the sum of $2,895.00 was stolen from me and should be returned to me or be put towards the down payment of the car. I never wanted the insurance in the first place. Also note that the insurance papers I have that my signature does not appear where signature is required
