I purchased a car from hilltop auto in Prescott MI. I purchased with a check from my finance company, Elga credit union in Clio. The people at hilltop knew I was coming from far away and that I was in a hurry to get to work, as I work 2nd shift. I had done all my business to get this car online because obviously my transportation is limited and I work hours that are not standard every weekday. I signed quickly. I drove the car all the way to work which was about 1 hour 20 min drive. I work until 1am. No one is around but me, it's after hours. I go to leave to go home, car won't go into gear. That was 1am on 9/14/2023. I had bought the car roughly 1pm on 9/13/2023. I feel as though they knew this vehicle had major issues and concealed that fact and took advantage of me because of my limited time and transportation. I will agree I have myself to blame as well because I should have done my due diligence, that being said I think that hilltop auto in Prescott is a predatory car sales lot, if you read their reviews I am not the only one who ended up in this situation when dealing with hilltop auto. I have pictures of the cars transmission they sold me after I had it a mere 12 hours. Email me and I will attach those. Resolution Sought I think there should be a warning to all potential customers, a disclaimer if you will, that there's a good chance the car will break down in less than 24 hours
