I am reaching out to seek your assistance with a matter that has been causing significant stress and financial strain. I am attempting to cancel a timeshare contract that I feel was entered under undue pressure and without my full consent. As a full-time caregiver for my father, my financial situation has become increasingly difficult, and I am unable to keep up with the obligations of this timeshare. When I initially signed the contract, I was under considerable pressure from the sales team, and felt pushed into a decision that I was not comfortable with. It is for these reasons that I am requesting an immediate cancellation of my timeshare contract and a refund of any payments made thus far. I would be grateful for the Business Consumer Alliance's assistance in facilitating this cancellation, as it has been a source of anxiety and difficulty. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I picked up a call from Hilton Vacations. The sales person soliciting offered a Hilton Vacation 4 days 3 nights anywhere in UD for $240. I thought ok great, rooms are typically $120 per night so I'll get one night free. After paying the solicitor said "you'll be attending a Time Share Meeting and hung up on me. I DIDNT AND DONT WANT A TIME SHARE! I tried to book my rooms the next time I saw HILTON VACATIONS I answered my phone and told the solicitor my ordeal. After 2 hours, the best he could do was DC. I made the trip to DC, hotel was beautiful. I attended the HOSTILE TIME SHARE presentation as I was tricked into attending. The time share presenter at Hilton in DC used scare tactics to once again lure people into these vacations. "We're all going to go so leave earth with memories" was the ploy. Not only did HILTON rob me of $240 up front and another $90 at check out for a total of $330. And when no one bought a timeshare the salespeople became downright hostile with all of us in this presentation. HILTON robbed me of $240 and $90 , total of $330 plus my expense getting there as I was going to use the $240 three nights in my hometown of Virginia Beach. That was not an option when the solicitor on phone call said ANYWHERE in USA. I'm out transportation and parking, another $210. I'm so angry and annoyed as all of us in the sales presentation group. One couple from Flynt Michigan were treated so horribly it was unbelievable. Resolution Sought I would like to be refunded my money.
