I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my frustrating experience as a member of Diamond Resorts, now Hilton Grand Vacations. Despite investing a significant amount of money into this program and being promised the ability to travel when and where we want with our family at no additional cost, this has not been our reality. One of the biggest issues is the consistent lack of availability. There is almost never any availability for us to use as owners. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I have personally checked third-party travel websites and found availability for the same properties. It is extremely disheartening that owners who have heavily invested in this program are unable to access the benefits we were promised. When we purchased this membership, we were explicitly told that it was not a timeshare but rather a vacation club. This representation was a critical factor in our decision to invest. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The system operates in every way like a traditional timeshare, and we feel misled by this misinformation. The lack of customer service has only added to our discomfort with this situation. Calls remain unanswered, and emails often go without any response. Additionally, when my husband and I first joined, no one adequately explained how to effectively utilize the website to make reservations or manage our membership. This lack of support left us confused and unable to make the most of the product we purchase. Resolution Sought Full cancelation and refund.

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare ownership at Ocean 22 in South Carolina. Over the past year, I have repeatedly reached out to Hilton Grand Vacations in an effort to cancel my membership, but I have been met with nothing but denials and an unwillingness to assist. I am deeply frustrated and feel misled by the experience I've had with this company. When purchasing this timeshare, we were led to believe it would provide us with flexibility and memorable travel experiences. However, this has not been the case. We have never been able to use the ownership because there is no availability for our desired times or locations. It is far from the easy and convenient experience that was promised during the sales presentation. Frankly, we feel we were pressured into buying something with misleading promises. The product we ended up with is entirely different from what was initially portrayed, and it has been a complete waste of money. Despite our attempts to resolve this matter, Hilton Grand Vacations has refused to assist us with cancellation, and we are left paying for something that holds no value or benefit to us. Additionally, our salesperson even reached out to us, suggesting we sell the timeshare through his friend's third-party company. This feels unprofessional and underscores the lack of support provided by Hilton Grand Vacations to customers who are unhappy with their products. Resolution Sought Full cancellation and refund.
