On 7/25/2025, I purchased, Company Liability Insurance, through this company, after explaining to the agent what kind of business I was operating I felt good about the policy she offered me, so we went forward. About Jan. of 2026, a Company was trying to bring me in as a vendor, so they gave me a dummy Certificate Of Liability to give to my Insurance Company showing them what coverage I needed, that's when the problem started, Hiscox couldn't provide them. I called and talked with an agent who insured me that they would try to match what I needed, so they upgraded my policy charged me some more money only to fine out that they still didn't meet the minimum requirements that I needed to move forward as a Vendor. " WELL SIR" Keep this in mind they are debiting my debit account every month on a card that I made a 1 time payment with, without my permission. Now here"s comes the best part, On March 24, 2026 I made some repairs to a resident home that totaled the some of 1900.00, some siding work on the roof and some sheet rock work and paint work, in the living, some how the water still got in and caused some of the damage to return, the homeowner wanted a full refund on which I had no problem doing, guess what when I filed the claim and the 3rd party adjuster called me and stated that the damage was not covered, but they sold me the Insurance according to what I stated I needed for my Company. I was mislead into buying something that I can not use at all. Resolution Sought As of today's date I have paid 644.32 for an Insurance Coverage I can not use, I would like a complete refund.

Hiscox Reference Number 100.223.435 The concern with Hiscox and their handling of the matter is that they based their decision to deny coverage on our lawful withholding of information that is materially sensitive, private and that would compromise privacy laws as well as our privacy obligations to our client (documentation regarding the aforementioned claim is available upon request, which includes same such emails from Hiscox). We believe this may be an unethical standard from Hiscox and an unethical reason to deny coverage.
