The store manager of this establishment (Steve Tempinaro-spelling uncertain) displayed inappropriate work behaviors to include, but not limited to, racial profiling, employee misconduct, illegally scheduling or docking, or denying employee hours without warning and giving excuses in relation to company budget; while simultaneously hiring new personnel to fill hours and payroll spots that were previously "unavailable". He has made racially charged statements about African-American customers and employees. Including but not limited to calling a black women "nappy-headed" and "ghetto" in response to her appearance when entering the store. This was addressed in sidebar to myself however, I did not acknowledge the statement at the time and annotated the statement for further observation. On top of all this, multiple people who have left his employ have struggled to receive their final paycheck or have been denied unemployment, myself included despite being mailed a separation letter and still( at this time) have yet to receive my final check. I've conversed with at least 3 other former employees who had trouble receiving their last check as well. Based on the circumstances involved with there separation, the response to delay a final check appears as an act of retaliation based on the employers attitude towards his employees, despite the loyalty those employees displayed during their tenure. Resolution Sought This employee needs investigation and his remaining employees need to be vetted and interviewed for potential statements, as multiple employees have been fired or resigned in direct relation to this managers behavior.

The initial notification of this complaint was received on 8/30/24. The complaint was looked into and the former EE was contacted on 9/3/24. The complaint was resolved.
