I brought my car in because of a thumping noise somewhere along the drive train. Without doing a true diagnosis, the representative Blaz Lopez said "Does it have a warranty?" I said yes. He diagnosed it as that issue. Held my car for weeks while the warranty part was ordered. Told me the problem was fixed. When I drove it, it was exactly the same. I brought it right back and was given the run-around talk, "He will look into it." He called me 2 weeks later to ask me to lie on a survey and say highly things about his service. Which was never fixed. Used my warranty and then never followed up on. Resolution Sought To either fix the real issue or refund my warranty part to my warranty company for his blatant lies.

We have tried to resolve this issue with Mr. White by calling the number listed under his information on the complaint several times. We would like Mr. White to contact us as soon as possible. There is not always an immediate fix for some issues, but the Service Advisor has completed his research and would like to speak with Mr. White so they can review his options. We do acknowledge we did ask Mr, White for a good survey. We were hopeful that the repairs or future repairs would take care of the issue.

Company's letter states: Purchased vehicle on 2/14/22. No mention of any noise at delivery. Never heard from clinet about a noise. Came in 3/22/22 complaining about a noise. Found A/C actuator bad. Vehicle purchased was 8 years ago and had 117,264 miles on it. We sold it with a 3mo/ 3000 powertrain warranty. It did not cover the repair so he paid. We are not responsible however we will reimburse him half the repair ($197.50).

We also are reluctant to reimbursing the ($197.50) since the warranty did not cover the repair. However, we understand that these types of things can happen on cards and want to stand behind our vehicles. While we are going to make this gesture of good faith, it seems as though the client is not very understanding and feels we should pay for the whole repair. Unfortunately, this is not the way it works. There is a certain risk associated with vehicle that have over 100K miles on them when you purchase them and that is why we provided a 3mo/3,000-mile powertrain warranty. We cannot be held responsible for everything that happens to a car after the sale. I will have a check mailed to the client next week. Regarding the recent deductible that was due on a covered repair, I am sure that was a small cost compared to the cost to repair the vehicle, which we paid for under our warranty. We will now consider this matter closed.
