I would not recommend a timeshare from the Holiday Inn Club company. Total scam! Since entering into their "club", we've faced continuous problems, not to mention the financial disaster they have caused us. We had to stop paying them in order to get some answers and responses back from them. Even explaining my husband's medical condition with having Parkinson's, they could offer anything and showed lack of empathy. Recently, he had to be admitted to an assisted living facility, so that adds additional costs I am spending. I have lost all respect for this company as a whole. Resolution Sought I am needing Holiday Inn to terminate the agreement due to my husband's health condition and our inability to use it.

My name is Delores Houston and I would like to bring to your attention as a consumer with my experience as a timeshare buyer through  "Holiday Inn Club Vacations". I bought this timeshare in 2014, when it was known as "Silverleaf", but even when Holiday Inn Club Vacations took over the properties, from Silverleaf, there was no improvement other than I was not "boxed" into only one date slotted to use the timeshare. But, they continued to "browbeat you" into re-signing up after EACH visit. I never went on many visits because of this "policy" to get gift cards, or a cruise, etc. They even changed my location to a completely different city far from the one I originally signed up. My family and I were not pleased to have to drive a longer distance. Mainly, I was not even given the opportunity to decide NOT to continue with the timeshare purchase, as they had made that decision for me without my consent. If I had known of all of the changes they would be implementing, I would have requested to not be transferred when they took it over from "Silverleaf".  Fees have increased and the availability for bookings have decreased. At my age (82) and current health limitations, I cannot afford to keep paying the high fees for something that I am unable to use or even sell. For in one of the "after visit meetings", I told the sales person that I wanted to sell this timeshare. She said, "you can't sell "air space" and that's why you can't even sell it for a dollar ".  Isn't it strange that Resolution Sought Holiday Inn should terminate the ownership and allow me to be able to end services.
