I purchased a Holley sniper along with the hyper spark distributor and ignition system. I had it professionally installed by a mechanic on a crate motor purchased from blue print engines. The mechanic had multiple issues trying to get the sniper to operate correctly. It would run great sometimes and would run terrible at other times. Mechanic called tech line multiple times and tried all fixes but nothing worked. After weeks of trying to diagnose he handed the truck back running poorly. I then took the truck to another mechanic who spent a couple days diagnosing the issues also. Once again he was unable to come up with a solution. Keep in mind these were both very qualified mechanics. Motor install along with trans and transfer case cost 6k. Mechanics checked fuel pressure, timing, 02 sensor location, wires for interference, etc. I then called two local Holley dealers. Both told me that Holley sniper is having huge issues. Both told me they would work on them but would never sell one to anyone because they wouldn't want to have to service them. I finally gave in after trying to resolve for months. I removed the sniper unit and shipped it back to Holley. The service tech told me someone would get back to me within a week of sending the unit in. It was received on August 30 th 2022. It's sept 13th and I have not received call. I have called twice and been put on hold for over an hour each time. My vehicle has become the joke of the neighborhood. What was supposed to be. Resolution Sought I would like all Holley products refunded. I'm in the service business. I would never treat any of my customers this way. I will probably remove all products from vehicle and start over with a different supplier. I will definitely research the products much better next time.
