On March 19, 2021 Hollister Asphalt Paving installed a 3,000 sq. ft. driveway for $7,000. This asphalt driveway is already failing. Grass is growing through it, ant beds appearing, car tires sinking in asphalt, limerock base appearing, cracking and crumpling, asphalt mix coming apart, and a total eyesore. Mr. Hollister refused to come and talk with me but said he would send a crew over in a few days. After several weeks of texting and broken promises of a "few more days" he finally sent a crew to repave the north drive, 85 lf, about half way, in a rain storm. After weeks of complaining he again sent a crew, 2 men and a woman to "look" at driveway. They came in a pick-up truck with a small black drum on a trailer. The lead man asked what the problem was, and after I showed him, he said I got to call Jimmy. He returned to me and said Jimmy would call me in "a few days". He never did. I texted Mr. Hollister again asking when he may fix my drive and he again lied stating he sent a crew over and I sent them away and there was nothing else he would do. I have tried every thing possible to solve this issue with this man to no avail. He has lied, deceived and cheated me. He refuses to stand behind his work or guarantee. In short, he is a low life. I am an 80 years old male with severe heart failure. I need this problem settled quickly so my wife does not have to deal with. I explained this in text to Hollister and his reply was sorry, my problem wasn't important to him. Resolution Sought I would like for Hollister to pay a reputable contractor to bring my driveway up to industry standards. This includes removal of his low grade materials if required. I do not want Hollister or his crew on my property ever again. I have documentation, text messages, photos, etc. of the horrible work he did.
