Bought used 2014 Ford Escape on 6/19/23. Pointed out car had been wrecked from driver fr quarter panel different shade. Acted surprised. Said no car fax found. Had just been traded in. When I went back to purchase it had been put on website and on sales lot. I mentioned a pull to right. Said prob tire. Sold for 9,100 plus TTL 10,350 on 6/19. Noticed later it was pulling worse. Took to service shop on 15th day after purchase. Checked tire and changed it. Said struts were bad. Took to private mechanic. End result was had been severely wrecked. Broken motor mount, broken transmission mount which crumbled, broken left axle shaft with no oil airbags had deployed and not replaced. Windshield replaced but wipers put on off-center, when towed from that accident they hooked onto rear sway bars and they were bent bad and had to b replaced. To note, the struts that holzauers shop said were bad and was causing the pull after they put it up on lift twice, they presumably didn't notice any of this. My mechanic said the struts were almost new and had nothing wrong with them. I feel holzhaurers was fixing to take me for a ride. My family for 3 generations has bought cars here with no issues. I however walk in with cash and was a woman and took clear advantage of me. Salesman's superior agreed on final deal but would not detail it or wash it or change oil. Now I see why. They were trying to get me out fast. I have itemized bill of what was fixed and mechanic will back up everything. Resolution Sought Make this right. I want either monetary compensation or a different similar vehicle in better condition. No airbags put back in that car is against the law and they should be held accountable for this.
