I filed a claim on August 12 2025 for my tankless hot water heater providing a failure to ignite code. 2-10 has failed to give thruthful status on the unit, a request to talk to a supervisor has been requested 3 times yet no supervisor has contacted me, no timelines have been met on the ordering status or updates of delivery of the unit. My daughter has medical needs that require warm water for treatment and this is affecting the health and welfare of my family. Resolution Sought Provide delivery and installation of a hot water heater within 48 hours and have a supervisor contact me to rectify the the poor customer relations.

I found a queen on June 67 nothing has still been done about my air conditioning. I don't know how to email I will be 70 years old in December so please be considerate of that. It's hard for me to type or even do this seems as a result of chemotherapy from a double mastectomy I have severe neuropathy i'm sitting here sweating and trying to breathe I'm all alone they came out once and worked eight hours on my air conditioner which it only worked for 30 hours and then shut off and start clicking over the circuit breakers I can't get air conditioning it's over 100° in my house they should not let me sit here like this they refused to refund me if I need to get a hotel room or buy another air conditioner I cannot afford to do that so I am putting this complaint in against them since June 7 they have done very little or nothing to help me cause I sit here I have no air-conditioning and I have their supreme policy I bought the best one that there was from your company I believe they owe me a lot can't put it in dollar amounts but you tell me how much does your health question when you can't breathe or sometimes lose your balance in full. Resolution Sought Did they come here immediately and I mean immediately and install a air conditioner that is the exact same as mine or one that is better than mine is I have researched air conditioners there's only two that's better and that's a train and I can't even remember in this heat with the other one was so I did a three I would like a ream a train the other one starts with a D and nothing else they owe me that much anymore for my pain and suffering.

Company Response

Home Buyers Resale Warranty Corporation ("2-10 HBW") is in receipt of the inquiry submitted under complaint by Ms. Fogerty. We have located Ms. Fogerty's Limited Home service Agreement ("Agreement") and applicable claim. Thank you for the opportunity to review and respond. We do understand how frustrating it can be without air conditioning and certainly empathize with Mrs. Murray. However, Ms. Fogerty has a $3,000 maximum set forth in her Service Agreement for air conditioning. This is specified in the Agreement Air Conditioning and Heat Pump trade section under: "Dollar Limits - Cost to diagnose, repair and/or replace: Air conditioning and heat pump in aggregate - $3,000. Refrigerant lines - $500. Refrigerants - $150." She had a prior claim which used $1,185 of the maximum. Recently a contractor diagnosed and recommended system replacement, however, there was only $1,815 remaining on the maximum. This was not enough to replace her system. On August 3, 2023, we offered Ms. Fogerty the remaining max of $1,815. She has not yet accepted. We regret we will not be replacing the air conditioner. Ms. Fogerty has been offered the remaining max. We apologize for any frustration or inconvenience that Ms. Fogerty may have experienced during the claims handling process. We value Ms. Fogerty's business, and we look forward to serving her future warranty needs. Sincerely, Office of the President Home Buyers Resale Warranty Corporation
