Consumer states; I am 81 years old and have never turned in a complaint to anyone, but this company needs someone to look into their business policy. I called them 8/20/24 and agreed to take out insurance on our appliances. When my wife got home and I told her what I had done, she told me we already had coverage on the appliances. I called them back and tried to cancel, but they told me I would have to wait until I received the policy in the mail. When I received it 13 days later, I called and spoke to a lady named Brenda, she said it would be cancelled. Then I started getting calls from them telling me I was late on a payment; I told the guy I had cancelled with Brenda. He said they showed no record of where I had called. I tried to explain the whole thing to him and he said it sounded like I had an attitude and he didn't talk to people with attitudes and hung up on me. I called my credit company and told them to refuse payment to them and they told me they had tried twice that same day to get funds from my account. Resolution Sought Consumer states; I want this Home Warranty Service to address my claim above as soon as possible by honoring my cancellation requests.

My wife and I decided we did not want to continue this service the day after I signed up. I called Home Warranty Services and asked to speak with someone about canceling. I was told someone would call me within 30 minutes to discuss the cancelation. I have called several times and always get the same results. The customer service rep I have talked with (Monica) always states, "I understand your frustration", and someone will get back with you in 30 minutes or someone will get back to you before the end of the business day. I have not heard from nor talked to anyone about canceling the contract. Another thing is that my wife never talked with anyone about signing up for 0the services, I initiated it. I have also received phone calls from someone in Washington, OK, 405-288-5386. asking to speak with my wife, they refuse to talk with me because "the account is in her name ." I told them to call my wife at her phone number , when I attempted to give them her number I was told they had it. They never attempted to call her. My wife also went on line and filled out the cancelation form according to their instructions. She has not received anything acknowledging her submission. Resolution Sought I would appreciate it if they would return my 100.00 deposit and cancel this contract.
