Home Town Services, Paramus, NJ, 973-905-2935 installed a new air conditioner on July 8th, a reasonable price. When I presented a charge card he said the company didn't accept credit cards despite the statement on the invoice and business card. I was told I HAD to pay 1/2 of the bill immediately. He stated I was required the balance on Monday. The ac installation would not be completed until balance was paid. The ac unit was for a tenant and I didn't want my tenant to be uncomfortable. Consequently I put myself in debt by borrowing from a family member. Isn't this false advertising? Resolution Sought In my opinion, I'd like to be awarded $3,000 due "immediately" because of false advertising.
