Borderline dishonest not to offer customer all options.

Technician checked my AC that was not cooling. Freon was out and he did not want to replace It with expensive R22. Instead suggested I buy new unit ranging from $7300 to $13,000. He Offered to install a temporary cooling unit for weekend. Next day another company removed old R22 Freon and placed with new Freon product. AC is cooling well now. No guarantee that it will last but disappointed that Honest Abe tech did not offer this option. It seems he was more interested in selling me a new system. Borderline dishonest not to offer customer all options. Learn from this experience and be honest with their customers regarding their options. Not everyone can afford to shell out thousands of dollars for an HVAC unit on the spot.
