Honest Tax was supposed to negotiate my $50k IRS balance down to $22k. Honest Tax is a merchant of Zuntafi. Zuntafi sent Honest Tax a check for $22k, for Honest Tax to then send to the IRS to settle my $50k balance. Then I am to repay the $22k to Zuntafi. Honest Tax failed to contact the IRS and negotiate my balance. My IRS Revenue Officer, who I've worked closely with on resolving my balance, confirmed he had never heard of Honest Tax, and there was nothing in my files from Honest Tax. I called Honest Tax, and they stated negotiations were still pending. I communicated to Leo Collins an Attorney for Honest Tax, to cease negotiations. I will pay the $50k IRS balance, and my $6k balance to Honest Tax for Atty fees. He stated that was Ok. My Revenue Officer contacted Mr. Collins to confirm everyone was in agreement that it was Ok for me to personally pay off the IRS. Mr. Collins approved and stated he would take care of the $22k balance from Zuntafi. It is going on 4 months, and Honest Tax will not return my calls. I spoke with Zuntafi, and they are aware of the details, and have stated they have reached out Honest Tax on several occasions to have them return the $22k check. Stated that Honest Tax has not returned their calls nor have they returned their check. Meanwhile, my credit is being severely affected with the late payments. Zuntafi stated they can delete the late pmts from my credit, but they need Honest Tax to return their calls & the $22k check. Resolution Sought Return the $22k check that was never sent to the IRS, to Zuntafi. This will clear up the negative reporting on my credit. And return my full balance of atty fees, because they did absolutely nothing to assist me.

In May I reached out to Honest Tax to rectify delinquent tax issue. They took my information and charged my fee of 2300 dollar, which by the way was financed, a week later they reached out to me and pressured me to take out another loan for more than 13,900 dollars as the "fee for service" -- as the representative for the company pressured me as they claimed that this needed to be paid before the end of the month as the IRS was ending the program on May 31,2022. So, I agreed in my effort to rid myself of this burden. From that point forward no calls, no emails, nothing. I had to reach out to get the tax forms. I didn't received the prepared taxes until middle of July 2022; Furthermore, the taxes prepared was absolutely abysmal, unprofessionally done and little more than data inputted into a tax program. Attempts to call and rectify the tax returns went ignored with promises of call returns or cavalier attitudes and rudeness by the staff. I took the prepared taxes to a CPA which costs me even more money. Resolution Sought Refund my 13,900 dollars!
