The shower remodel client hired us for was completed on time and pass all city inspections. We also provided the client with many items for NO charge to her. work we did for her complementary!!! This client mentioned to us 4 items she needs repair: All 4 are in question. 1. Trash on side of house – no proof this trash is from the remodeling. When we completed and left the job 2. Broken Valve handle under sink – this is an existing valve handle. Very old. Our scope of work didn't include any work related to it and therefore there is no proof we are responsible that it is broken. It could be that it was like that for several years. 3. Pocket door - this is an existing pocket door. Very old. Our scope of work didn't include any work related to it and therefore there is no proof we are responsible that it is broken or need any repairs. It could be that it was like that for several years. 4. Vanity glass counter top - this is an existing vanity counter. Very old. Our scope of work didn't include any work related to it and therefore there is no proof we are responsible that it is scratched. It could be that it was like that for several years. Usually a related to construction scratch is 1 scratch. Client is presenting a photo of many scratches all over the vanity - usually related to wear and tear (years of usage) Because we worked on her shower doesn't mean we are responsible for every old item in her house and we need to remodel it for her complementary. Anyway, we tried to make her happy and put this behind us and offered to pick up the trash and change the broken valve under the sink with No charge. We also offered her $300 for her counter and another $300 for her pocket door. $600 that will be credit from her balance to us. Client still owe us balance from her agreement. Client never replied to us.

Customer Rebuttal

Consumer states; I have no idea of what you're talking about of returning anything. I paid for everything that I had in my bathroom. Our original contract dated Feb 20, 2024 for the amount of 12,500 was to remove a bathtub only and replace it with a shower only. The second contract cost me an additional $2500 to remove all the other tile that I had in my bathroom in the beginning. I felt Marc took advantage of a senior citizen. He tried to bully me. He ran up on me and that's when I told him to get out of my house and never return that I would no longer work with him, You're lucky I'm not requesting my $2500 back for Mar's screwup. I am not accepting your offer. Here is my offer I will accept a $2000 to finalize and settle all outstanding issues. I will do all the repairs and removals myself. you won't hear from me again.Angry upset homeowner.

Company Final Response

Both, the original agreement and the change order items were completed and Final inspection by city of Inglewood was passed. Both, the original agreement and the change order items were under charged and resulted in a financial lost for our company. Even though the work contracted was completed by us and final inspection passed by city inspector, we never received a completion payment of $250.00 from you. In addition, during our work at your house you requested us to do additional work for you that was not included in original agreement OR the signed change order. We are trying to resolve this matter in the fairest way possible We offer to waive the past due balance of $3,249.60 And conclude our business relationship. This offer is made to finalize your project and settle all outstanding issues. Please confirm your acceptance of this offer. Once accepted, we will email a form for both parties to sign and proceed with the necessary arrangements.
