I have bought a 2018 Red Camry with 140k miles on October 4th 2025 from Hot pursuit motorsports. At time of test-drive the car was running fine but, when we have made the payment of $7500 and signed all the paperworks we took the car out of the dealership and drove about 5miles and the car overheated. We called the dealer they send a tow truck and took the car to his mechanic shop to fix it and also promised us to pay for all the repairs will be done. After that, A week passed and we still had no information about the car. We called the owner and he said the car is still not fixed yet. On October 13th I went to the mechanic shop and he said the car fixed and they just waiting for the payment I called the dealer and the told me that they have paid $1000 to the mechanic and we have to pay the rest of $500 but the mechanic said No, the total is $690 for the replacing the water pump and coolant. We paid additional $690 to the mechanic and as soon as we drove the car the same problem happened and even its was worse. On the phone when we talked about the payment he told us he is not the owner and he can not make the payments and he blocked the number but October 15 I went to the dealership and I saw him there as soon as he saw me he went outside but I spoke with the sales person and he told me the he is the owner. He do not wanna speak to us directly and blocked our number he gave us a broken car and made us to pay for the repairs which didn't even solve the problem. Resolution Sought I asked for our money refund or a trade a functional car.
