The advertisement should say they want only older homes not in move in condition, and the quote takes longer than 7 minutes.

I contacted House Buyers of America to get a quote on my townhouse in Frederick Md. First of all I was told that it would take up to 24 hours to receive the quote not the 7 minutes the advertisement states. As I contacted them on a Friday 03/15/19 I was told I would here my quote on Monday(the next business day). I received a call form John Wobert( possible miss spelling) and was asked to contact him regarding the condition of my townhouse at a 703-962-7902 number as I did and John asked me about the condition of my townhouse and I said it was in excellent move in ready condition. There were a few things I would have to do like have the carpets cleaned to put it in the market. Mr John stated that they were a company that bought homes rehabed them and turned around to sell them. He was not interested in a home in move in condition. I stated that that was not what the advertisement on the tv said and I quoted the add and he hung up on me. Never gave me an explanation as to the false advertisement of this company just hung up.
