I hired Hugh's heating and air April 15 th 2022 I am building a 4000 sq ft home in East Bernstadt Ky and needed heating and air throughout . I paid them 28487.00 they came out and put duct work upstairs and a unit and then never returned . I need two units and duct work downstairs. I called them many times and the last meeting they said I need to write another check for 16191.00 to finish the job . They never bought the two units for the downstairs. They called me and said they don't have the money to buy the other units so o will need to give them a check or they won't be able to finish I asked them what happened to the 28,487.00 they stated that they had to use it on other jobs that how the business works my two units are on hold at a store near me but has not been paid for and will not be paid for unless I give them another check for the 16191.00 . . I had two other HVAC companies come out and they say that the work that is done now is very badly done and will not pass inspection . I have already been over charged for the installation of the total job and now Hugh's heating and air wants to change there plans and charge me more money and pay them for the entire job before it's completed . I don't have confidence that they will return and finish the job . I offered to buy the two units that are on hold myself and they can come and finish the job but they refused the offer . Resolution Sought To purchase the two units they have on hold and I will have them installed by a legitimate HVAC company .
