My husband's ssdi

At first we thought that they were really going to help us, at first they gained our trust because my husband had lost his job because he lost so much time from a chronic disease he had had for over 30 years, he was at the piont of not being able to work, human arc sent him a letter after he was approved for medicade, they told him he could get approved for ssi because of his income, but actually he could have applied for ssdi, because he had worked so many years, and had paid in so much through his work hours, human arc seemed suprised when a ssa employee called to take his application and told him he should apply for ssdi,.ot would be much more than ssi, because he had worked for it, so we allowed them to handle his ssdi, they assured us that they could handle it much better than lawyers because they were with a health care company and they knew so much more about medical things than lawyers, they did absoulty nothing when it came to filling out forms for the ssa, we did it all on our own with absoulty no help from them! So after my husband was denied on October 20th, and was told we had 60 days to file a reconsideration appeal, they did nothing again! Until it was almost to late to file the reconsideration! There were so many red flags that we did not recognise, but by the time we got thier letter, we had already got a lawyer that is helping us like they should have! If they would have done the job our lawyer is doing now, he could have got it approved! Please please, do not allow them to handle anything to do with ssi or ssdi! They do not know how to handle these things, no mather what they tell you! If you are lucky enough to get ssi or ssdi., with them all they want is the money the ssa gives them from the back pay! They do not care about you or how sick you are! They proved that first hand with my husband
