Bought 2010 rav 4 on 5/14/2021 Certified pre-owned. In 8/2021 front wheel bearing broke while driving car had to be towed to dealership for service . Talked with service advisor Paola Arredondo more than 15 times during the 5 days they had car was told to get car fixed front end needed to be replaced, told me front struts were crumpled and suspension shot needed to wheel bearings brake censor tires ect. Explained I just purchased and being 56 yrs old and driving on surface streets I did not cause damage asked for a copy of Pre Certification and inspection work done on car before it was sold to me and was told by service advisor there wasn't one and the last time they have records for it being inspected was in 2016 .They would not release my car with out the payment above. I was told the general manager Tommy would phone me the next day [ he did not ] 4 days later I phone him left me on hold for long time then answered [Tony what do you want ] I talked to him and his answer was [so what] Told me his boss Ethan would call me to discuss problem and I asked for an [ eta ] and he said [ I don't speak for Ethan] That was 6 days ago. Resolution Sought Reimburse me the money I paid out since I was not at fault and they sold me an un-inspected car [was told to me by service department.]
