This practice incorrectly documented my sons visit last year. He had fallen and was seen by their doctor Christine Nguyen a month later. I have prudential insurance and I filed a claim for his fall. They requested records so this office sent them, but they were wrong, so I asked them to correct them. They failed to review this, then a manager called back saying they did nothing wrong and she continued to argue with me. Only the detail left out of the medical records was that my son fell because it's an accident insurance claim. I told the manager that I had told them during the time of the doctor visit and before the appt that my son fell, but she just said she's not editing any records. She told me it was my problem and argued repeatedly with me. She then told me that I would have had to tell them he fell during the visit, and I said that I had told her that. But she said she didn't care; that she isn't fixing the records at all. She refused to do anything to fix it and the claim was denied so I'm out the $400 I was hoping to get from my accident insurance. Also, I believe this is illegal for an office to refuse to deal with a patient who has a claim they're trying to settle. I'm not getting anything, but refusals and a lot of attitude from this manager. She hung up on me after saying that they're not going to revise anything. Resolution Sought I'd like them to do an addendum to the record but I would like to have contact with the business owner; do not want to deal with the rude manager again. If they cannot revise the records, then they need to pay me $400 as their poor record keeping g has cost me that money.
