A customer service rep who stated he worked for Verizon misrepresented himself and almost got me to switch my electric provider. He stated that he could give me a 200 dollar reward for the poor service I had received from Verizon. What it turned out to be was that he was working for Inspire and almost got me to switch. He wasn't honest with me and you need to stop them. Resolution Sought Stop all misrepresentation and state exactly why and what you are selling. He made it seem like he was there as a customer rep for Verizon and the cash reward was for poor service by Verizon. I called Verizon and customer service said they had no agreement with Inspire.

We were unable to find this individual in our database. We attempted to search by their name and phone number. A manager attempted to reach August on the number provided on 10:40 am EST on 6/23/22. There was no answer but we did leave a voicemail. In order for Inspire to investigate and submit a complaint against the representative, we need August's address so we can pull the file and records. Inspire has representatives that sell from multiple companies. We track all sales and representatives via GPS. Inspire apologizes for this experience but can only follow up with the sales representative and partner if August wants to share his address. At Inspire, we strive to empower our customers to make a rewarding and informed decision to support cleaner sources of energy. Please let me know if you need any additional information regarding these complaints. We consider these matters closed.

Salesman pitched it that my monthly electirc bill would be averaged out to monthly rate and help produce clean energy. Nothing about a membership and absolutely nothing about it doubling and almost tripling my electric bill. And this is a scam to get people to pay for clean energy. I will not pay extra to use clean energy when it raises my electric bill from $100 a month to $297 a month. I will stick with fossil fuels at that rate. Beware their sales tactics to raise peoples electric bills. They were in BJ wholesale selling the "membership." They leave out that your electric company still has their own charges and that Inspire is just adding an extra fee. The website is very vague and makes it difficult to cancel this "membership". And when I called to cancel they said it will take two billing cycles to cancel and be removed from my illuminating company bill. Resolution Sought Refund my money. And start being honest about the cost and the there is a "trial" period and it can double after that. And to let people kniw that if they wish to cancel that it can take 2-3 months xepending on where they are in te billing cycle.

On November 20th 2021, Ms. Lesure's account was enrolled with Inspire at a BJ's in Warrensville Heights by Deana Herself. The account was enrolled on our flat rate, subscription product called Unlimited 100% Clean Energy Subscription with 1-Month Trial . During enrollment, Ms. Valdez provided her full name, address, email address, and phone number. Ms. Valdez stated she was an authorized party on the account and completed a third party verification SMS to her personal wireless phone, again confirming her decision to enroll for Inspire and the trial month pricing. Following enrollment, Terms of Service were emailed and delivered to her at [email protected]. Upon receipt of this complaint, Ms. Valdez's was already inactive the final day in service with Inspire was May 30th 2022. As a courtesy, Inspire refunded Ms. Valdez $200.41, the full supply price difference between Inspire and Cleveland Illuminating. Ms. Valdez accepted this refund as a resolution to their concern. The check will arrive to their address within the next 10 business days. Ms. Valdez may contact us should details of the complaint wish to be discussed further.
