There has been nothing but issues since this company took over Extra Storage. First, we were never informed that they were taking over, they've raised the rent two or three times in the year that they have taken over. They stopped all communication with me. I have not been contacted since Aug. 25, 2022. I went to the facility to make a payment after Labor Day but there was no one in the office. There was hardly any one in the office. I received a call out of the blue in November 2022 telling me that my lock had been cut and my unit was up for auction on December 21, 2022. They quoted me a price of $551 at that time and when I called today 12/12/22, they said it was $699 and couldn't explain to me why. Why can't you explain the charges on my account if I'm calling customer service?!?! Another time, they thought someone had emptied out my unit and told me to file a police report. I filed the report and then come to find out they went to the wrong unit and I had to cancel the police report. Again, it's just been issue after issue dealing with this company. I just want to pay them in full and move my belongings to another storage company. Resolution Sought Reduce the fees such as late fees, cut lock, and auction fees.
