I had Jackson Hewitt tax service Prepare my taxes last year for 2020 21,22 and 23 I signed and finalized all my taxes on April 12 for all the years the IRS is holding a check from me because of Jackson Hewitt not getting them the taxes in time so it's a statue of limitation issue Here we are in March 2025. I've been dealing with this since April 24. I'm getting nowhere with Jackson Hewitt. They're claiming they mailed it out on time IRS transcript states they didn't receive it until a certain day if you can prove when they mailed it out. The IRS will honor that unfortunately Jackson Hewitt also mailed my wife's passport photo ID and all our Social Security number at all our financials through a regular mail system so they have no proof of a receipt of when they mailed it so they can't prove to the IRS. It went out in time so pretty much I'm stuck with nothing to do and put hours and hours and hours in communicating with this people and they do nothing to help me so I'm contacting you guys. My identity has a has been. I've got a lot of fraudulent charges all of a sudden this year I feel like my identities been stolen. Jackson Hewitt also guarantees accurate and on time tax preparation, which means they should be covering my money until I get it which they are not gonna do that either. Jackson Hewitt also told us we were receiving an extra amount of money and not one of the years they filed was correct. The IRS had to correct 2020 2021, 2022 and 2023 returns. Resolution Sought I feel Jackson Hewitt is negligent in multiple ways. They didn't protect my wife or my identity. I believe their responsible to correct and pay us the amount we were told we were getting whether we got it or not, and to pay us for the check that was held due to their negligence.

I use Jackson here to file my taxes and I went to a location in Surfside Little Beach on Dick's Pond Road and I was told it was gonna be $380 for my fees from Jackson Hewitt and they charged me $845 so after 10 attempts to get in touch with the manager which I was told was the only person that could help me with my issue. I finally got the manager on the phone and he proceeded to basically called me a liar, but then once he looked into it further, he realized that yes they had made a mistake and charge me that much money but then turn around told me that there was nothing he could do about it and that is not OK. I don't care. I was glad to believe one thing and charged another. That's not legal and I cannot get this manager to do the right thing at Jackson Hewitt Resolution Sought Refund.
