I put purchased a used motor for my Chrysler 200 2016. The mechanic called me and told me that the motor was defective. Jakes auto said the mechanic did something wrong while installing the motor. I paid the mechanic 700.00$ for labor. I'm out.1700.00$. Reference # is 2522. Bought motor on 9/27/2021 and was picked up on 11 16 2021 by mechanic. Called jakes auto on 12/22/21.He told me wait till after the holidays because he was closed for 3 weeks. He picked up my car on 1/3/22 and called me on 1/16/2022 and told me that the mechanic messed up the car. I picked up the my car on1/17/2022.I was told to move it or have him fix my car for an additional 1950.00$. Resolution Sought Get reimbursed or fix my car.

Company states; Please be advised that the customer purchased this engine from Jake's Used Auto Parts and it was installed by his mechanic, which was sitting there a while. Also, note that our warranty is 30 days and it was purchased on Dec 2021. We did try to assist the customer by looking at the engine, and diagnosed it for him and it was nothing that we caused it was something that his mechanic did. No refund will be provided due to our policy and standard warranty. Which, is way past the timeframe of his complaint.
