Javantis Woods is the licensed contractor. His phone number is 662.610.6351. his card doesn't have a business location on it. He is a independent contractor without a business office. His last location where I think he currently lives at is in Fulton MS. He may live in Amory Mississippi. The house which is my house that he worked on is located in Okolona MS. I will be making papers out at the okolona Mississippi location. Javantist Woods took 2500.00 dollars from me as a down payment on the job. He gave me fake invoices which I have all saved in my phone texts and cash app. I haven't given him any cash and paid him through cash app. I gave him 1900.00 for materials. He gave me the contract and invoice for the cost of the job. He initially charged 6000.00 for the complete job and then after 3 months of incompletion he took off 500.00 for the job which I have saved in my text messages. He later told me after about 7 months of incompletion he told me that I don't owe him anything else other than the 4400.00 that I have already paid him. He was supposed to have finished the job in 3 weeks back in May of 2023. This house was to be a rental home for me. I was going to rent the house out for 1200.00 per month totaling 12000.00 of lost wages. Plus my down payment of 2500.00 and cost of materials which he never bought for 1900.00. Which is a total of 16400.00. Resolution Sought I wish to be compensated for 16400.00 for my down payment to Javantist Woods Construction and compensated for my materials and compensated for my lost wages.
