I bought a used 2019 GMC Sierra from Jay Hodge Dodge of Hugo, Oklahoma on February 16 of 2024. On March 6th, 2024 the check engine light came on when I started the truck. I immediately called the dealership and told them the situation and they sent a tow truck. Two weeks past and no contact so I reached out for them to tell me it needs a new engine and it will cost $10,523 and they will not fix it under warranty due to us driving 133 miles over the warranty. They will not work with me under any circumstances to help me out. I spoke with the service manager and he stated that cylinder number 6 was bent and it was due to possibly revving the engine too much. He accused me of going mudding in the truck or hauling something too heavy, which I did neither. I put $8,000 down on this vehicle upfront expecting to go home and have a reliable vehicle to get me to and from work. I bought this truck and drove it only two weeks. I have sent numerous people to buy vehicles from this company after I bought a brand new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee from them in July of 2023. Resolution Sought Fix the engine under warranty with no out of pocket charges.
