I ordered a set of Queen Size Black Satin Sheets at JC Penny's in the Ashland Mall. I paid cash for them and was told they would be delivered between Dec. 27, 2021 and Jan. 2, 2022. I plainly asked the Sales Rep. would I have to pick them up there or would they be delivered to my home address ... both Sales Reps simultaneously said, "it would be delivered to my home address". I just found out from my answering machine, they have been at the Ashland Mall since Dec. 29, 2021. I called to speak to someone at JC Penny's at 606-324-0618 - she was a foreigner who was very rude ... she sounded like a repetitive automotive machine with her response - very hard to understand and just kept talking, not letting me get a word in - Not trying to understand what I was saying. So, aggravated with JC Penny's and the service from this package I ordered. Was not expecting this kind of result. I always thought JC Penny's a reputable business. This certainly has been an eye-opening experience. I was going to order a Queen-Size Bkack Satin Comforter as soon as sheet set arrived (this being a Christmas present for one of my adult grandchild - I was unaware they wanted a comforter, too) - but will be ordering from somewhere else. Businesses just don't treat customers this 'rudely'. Resolution Sought They should do as I was told ... had the package delivered to my home address. But instead, I was threatened with order being canceled and I PAID cash for the order. Also, when you ask to speak to someone else - I should if been transferred to someone else.
