This Jewel store: has a history ( many years) of spoiled food, freezers and coolers do not function, poor maintenance, rats seen in store multiple times. The store if filthy, often they have no shopping arts available, the front of the store ( exterior is dirty) the main front doors are broken 60 of the time. The produce is often rotten. Fruit flies are present most of the time. The fish counter ( stinks) . Multiple complaints to Albertsons, multiple complaints to store management. Nothing changes. The company needs to either close the store or make efforts to bring it up to the standard of other Jewel food stores in the area. Example Jewel at Broadway and Addison. Clean the interior and exterior of store. Get rid of the rats. Do some quality control on produce and fish counters. Get clean shopping carts. Repair the broken coolers and freezers that leak on the floors and have barrier bags around them to keep the water that is leaking out contained. Wash , paint and repair the store so that it no longer looks or operates like a ghetto store. parking lot needs re-surfacing. Its like a mine field. Pot holes all over. Unable to walk across.
