I purchased a 2009 ford F150 from JIL Motors in Lyon Mountain NY for $8500 December 2023. When I purchased the vehicle I informed the dealership the air bag light and tire light were on was told upon dropping the truck off to me after the dmv they would have that fixed.. it wasn't fixed and the check engine light came on. I reached back out to them let them know nothing they said they would fix was fixed and have brought the truck to Bailey fords in Plattsburgh to be fixed.. while at Bailey fords they have stated manifold were spray foam the radiator is blown looking at $10,000 if not more and repairs that the trucks not even going to pass the next inspection and shouldn't even be on the road now due to the frame itself. I Have asked for work records from JIL motors and they refuse to provide any work records on the truck let alone make this purchase correct. Bailey fords in Plattsburgh is the only garage since purchasing the truck has looked at and worked on the truck since I've purchased the truck in December 2023. The service tech at Bailey fords in Plattsburgh has noted the condition of the truck when I brought the truck to them. Resolution Sought I would like a refund of the cost of the truck as Bailey fords is stating this truck shouldn't even be on the road legally. And JIL motors has been untruthful about the truck the repairs they conducted prior to the sale.

This was an As-Is purchase. The car was over 100,00 miles at the time of purchase. In the state of New York, a car over that mileage has no mandated warranty. We were willing to work with her, but she was not responsive when we offered to assist. Instead she took the vehicle to another dealer. At this time, we cannot offer any resolution, per As-Is sale. If she wants to pursue this further, we can go to Small Claims.

I have documentation from the ford dealership the truck has been seen at that has clear documentation that the truck shouldn’t have even been sold. When I reached out to the JIL about the trucks status and the in detailed information the ford dealership brought to my attention they became hostile. The ford dealership even has stated the truck should have never been sold let alone on the road. No where on the the documents of purchase does it state an as is sale. And under the lemon law in New York State per the attorney general this vehicle falls under that.
