Poor management issues while addressing the handling of store credit.
Went to the local Jimmy Jazz store in the Florence Magnolia Mall the day before Father's Day to purchase my husband a pair of sneakers. I wasn't sure that he would like not be able to fit the shoes I purchased. My daughter asked the sales person that assisted us in getting the shoe that if my husband could not fit the shoe or if he didn't like the shoe, would we be able to return it for full refund at that time we were told yes. So my daughter and I proceeded to the register bought the shoe. The next day it was Sunday my husband tried on the shoe; he could not wear the shoe nor did he like the shoe. So at that time, my daughter and I took the receipt put it in the bag and took it back to the gym in Jay's store in Florence at the Magnolia Mall. It was at that time we were informed that a full refund was not able to be issued. My daughter told the management that we were told the previous day that if the shoe did not fit nor if my husband did not like the shoe that we could return it for full refund. So we were mislead to begin with. But that's fine because at that time, my daughter asked for a store credit for the store. Management told her that they would not be able to give her a store credit, we should be able to return the shoe. So my daughter then traveled to Myrtle Beach South Carolina to Grand Mall; explained to management in the Jimmy Jazz store what had transpired in the Florence store and it was at that time that management issued her a store credit.
