My parents had a window in their Marbury Grand Marquis that wouldn't roll up. They ordered a part and told my dad it was 125$ part (not labor). They fixed it and my dad paid but the next day the window was stuck open yet again. They charged him a total of over 800$ in the 2 visits. My parents are in their 80's and have never bought a car anywhere else. They informed me after being charged that much they would never go back. They were taken advantage of because of their age!! Resolution Sought Refund the amount they overcharged them. They shouldn't have charged them labor the 2nd time since it was never fixed the first time!! Mr. Nelsons Mercury was in for an inoperative driver side window on 8/31/2021. We diagnosed the vehicle and found the switch to be faulty. We replaced the switch and verified the window was operating correctly. The total parts on the first repair were $88.99, and the repair total was $371.54. The vehicle returned on 9/14/2021, and the customer stated the window only worked for 2 days, We diagnosed the concern at no charge, and found the window lift cable had snapped. We obtained Mr Nelsons authorization to repair the window regulator which contains the lift cables. Total parts for this repair were $126.98 and the repair total was $412.89.
