My complaint with Jim's Auto in Minetto New York is my daughter and I brought a vehicle there and asked him to go through it and let us know what it needed to be fixed in order to be inspected. Jim the mechanic that owns the shop told us it only needed two parts and then it should pass inspection after $1,500 we then took it to another shop to be inspected and was told the vehicle was worth nothing, they showed us the hole in the frame the brake lights were on the emergency brake didn't work, and there was many other issues with the vehicle and was told it would never pass inspection and that no money should have ever been put into the vehicle, we have since tried to get our money back since he lied to us and told us after the 1500 it would pass inspection. If he did this to us I can only imagine how many other people he has done this too letting us drive a vehicle that was unsafe makes me think he should not have a business at all. Resolution Sought Allow other people in Minetto New York no that Jim's Auto is unreliable unsafe and ripping people off and is not doing his job to make sure vehicles are safe on the road.
