When I initially called this company, they quoted me a price of $115 for the house call and first hour. When the technician told me I needed a new sump pump and he had it in the truck, I asked how much it would be? He quoted me around $300. He was at my home for approx. 40 minutes. When he gave me the bill, he charged $ 172.50 for the house call. When I questioned this his response was I was also paying for his gas and time to drive from his last job to mine. I called the company and tried to get an answer as to why I was quoted $115 and why $300 was actually $375. All I got was a complete run around. I explained what they told me was not what they charged me and she had every excuse she could think of. This is a total rip off. I should not have to pay for the technician to drive from his last location. I was quoted $115 period. I want my $147.50 over charge reimbursed. This is a scam. Resolution Sought I would like the business to stand by their word and charge me what they quoted. I want reimbursed $ 147.50. The pump was $300 he charged $375 the house call was $115 he charged $172.50.
