Brian Johns owns this business. I called him in the last week of January since my car would not start. I paid him $50 to diagnose the issue. He discovered it was a bad fuel pump. I bought the part and paid him $150 to replace it. The car was still not working and Brian told me he found a blown gasket and immense amounts of oil in my engine. I turned down further services, as I wanted a second opinion. I opened the hood after he had "reassembled everything" and noticed that the spark plugs were loose, the air filter was sitting on top of the battery, and multiple screws and bolts were loose. A few days later, I opened my glove compartment, and it fell off and is unfixable. There was no issue prior to Brian "working" on the car. It took me two more weeks to get in with a reputable mechanic. They told me that the fuel pump was not put in correctly. Once fixed, the car ran fine. They tightened down bolts and expressed their was no oil leak or blown gasket. Seeing that the work he was paid for was done incorrectly, haphazardly, and more damage was done to my car, I want a refund. Resolution Sought Brian can keep the $50 diagnostic fee. He was correct that the fuel pump failed. I would like the $150 in labor costs returned, as he put in the part incorrectly, and caused further damages to my vehicle.
