I have been waiting for over a month to register a car here in RI and when I went to DMV they told me I needed a copy of the dealers license I immediately called James at 774-946-4484 and he said he could get me a copy by next appointment whic would of been 5/15, i texted him Monday morning he said he was on his way My brother called him Tuesday he told him he was going to get it; on Thursday my other brother went to Lawrence could not find address on title he called James who told him owner was in Africa and he would get copy 5/26. he can fax copy to 401-462-5787 or email to DMV. CustomerService@dmv.ri.gov; what am i supposed to do with car if i cannot register it ? bought 4/1 is he going to refund money? he drove car fromTaunton, MA to RI I can't do anything. can you all help me?? my next appointment is May 19th at 9am the only thing I need is a copy of the dealers license Resolution Sought Copy of dealers license if not refund of 2500 which is price of car

Sorry for the inconvenience, but will get copy of dealer license on Monday 5.24 as previously told. Zero chance can get it any earlier. Owner took it with him on vacation.

Why would owner take copy of dealers license? When I spoke to James on May 5th he said I would have it by May 14th; my brother called him thursday May 13th he told him to tell me to reschedule appointment which I did to May 19th now my next appointment is not until June 16th I should be refunded $500 to $1000 for the inconvenience and for having to pay for uber rides to get to work I have to leave at 640 am in the mornings to get to work by public transportation I'm 50+, a decent person would answer or call back!!
